To be a regular rider at the
CEEC, membership is required. A membership offers
you the following benefits:

activities at the centre

BASIC
RULES OF MEMBERSHIP

Family memberships are
valid for the whole family (regardless of size).
Assuming we can accommodate your riding
preferences, all family members may ride under
one family membership.

U16 memberships are for
riders aged 4-15. Riders that turn 16 in the
year of their membership are required to upgrade
to an adult membership on their birthday – fees
will be adjusted accordingly.

Only Life memberships and
debentures may be re-sold. Monthly, off peak,
five year and one year memberships are not
refundable & non-transferable under any
circumstances.

All members are required
to read and agree to our rules and regulations
prior to riding.

The CEEC will not accept
the verbal or physical abuse of their staff or
animals. In the event that this occurs, the
member (and all their family members) will be
expelled from the club immediately and no refund
of lessons or membership will be paid under any
circumstances.

There are several levels of membership. The basic
information and availability is listed below.
OFF PEAK MEMBERSHIP
Current availability: Limited
Riders holding an off peak membership may ride from
a Monday to Friday from 8am-12.30pm only. This
membership is valid for the whole family. Off Peak
members may join camps and other CEEC activities and
enjoy the discounts that other one year members
hold.
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP
Current availability: Limited
This is offered for children educated overseas or
for those that have a limited stay in Hong Kong. It
offers all the benefits of monthly membership.
Monthly membership is only offered for six
consecutive months at any one time. Monthly members
may purchase 10 lesson packages but these are only
valid if the monthly membership fee is paid. In the
event that the fee is not paid on consecutive
months, the lessons are lost.
ONE YEAR MEMBERSHIP
Current availability: Extremely limited – you are
likely to be placed on our riding waitlist.
We have one year family, single and junior
memberships available at the club. There are a
limited number of these offered at any one time and
therefore you may need to be placed on a waitlist.
This is highly likely if you are a beginner.
FIVE YEAR MEMBERSHIPS
Current availability: Sold Out (waitlist only)
The next available 5 year memberships will be
released in 2013.
LIVERY MEMBERSHIP
Current availability: Available
Riders that take a horse on ½ or full livery are
required to hold a livery membership as a minimum.
The livery membership is valid for as long as the
rider has a horse on livery. A livery holder may
continue with their livery membership in the event
of a change of horse so long as they take on a
livery horse within three months of ceasing livery
on a previous horse or are known to be actively
looking for a horse.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Current availability: Sold Out (waitlist only)
These memberships are available only when made
available by the previous holder. This membership
can be sold on but no profit may be made. These
memberships entitle you to priority lessons, greatly
reduced riding prices and also act as a livery
membership.
DEBENTURES
Current availability: Sold Out (waitlist only) –
private sales only.
The CEEC will not be offering further debentures and
therefore these are only available via private sale.
You may place yourself on the waitlist for a
debenture and we will let you know when one becomes
available. Please fill out the required form. The
fee for being placed on the debenture waitlist is
$500.
Debenture holders receive absolute priority over all
other riders, greatly reduced lesson prices, are
valid as a livery membership and may be sold at a
profit.
